Claver Dumoo was born on
the banks of the Moil River. He grew up in the bush with his
parents until he was 9 years old, when they joined the community of
Wadeye at Port Keats. Educated at the mission school he then went
into work as a ringer in WA. On returning to Point Keats, he gained
experience as a bricklayer and carpenter before becoming an artist
and didgi cutter.
